Responsibilities - 

– Developing and maintaining our clients’ custom WordPress sites 
– Coordinating with our creative team to turn designs into responsive, cross-browser compatible HTML/CSS/JS 
– Working closely with others within the web development team 
– Defining functionality requirements based on client/project needs 
– Using industry standard tools, including but not limited to WordPress, jQuery & Bootstrap 
– Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies 

Requirements - 
– 2+ years of WordPress development 
– 4+ years of professional experience and portfolio work that displays front-end development skills 
– Excellent knowledge of WordPress PHP,MYSQL,CSS,HTML and jQuery 
– Experience creating custom WordPress plugins 
– Understanding of RESTful Web Services technologies such as JSON,SOAP, and HTTP 
– Works both independently with other developers 
– Experience drafting functional specifications 
– Experience custom WordPress themes 
– Writes well-documented code 
– Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) 
– Extending themes using JavaScript/ jQuery 
– Performing speed and performance enhancements 
– Experience working with WordPress at a PHP code level 
– Ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a team environment 
– Ability to analyze, design, implement and integrate functional requirements 
- English language proficiency
