Web Designer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
· Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
· Testing and improving the design of the website.
· Communicating with client requirement design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps and wireframes
· Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
· Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
· Working with different content management systems.
· Manage a team of junior web designers, providing training as and when necessary
· Produce design collateral and website mock-ups for use in client pitches
· Liaise with clients to collect briefs and ensure all work produced meets their standards
· Oversee the design of all mobile apps
Key Skills/Experience:
· Expert with the Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
· Minimum of two years’ experience of working in the UI/UX
· Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
· Good understanding of content management systems such as Drupal and Wordpress.
· Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
· Excellent visual design skills
· Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies
· Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously
· An extensive portfolio which demonstrates your professional experience with responsive design, typography, UX/UI design and your creativity
