Job Description
Who we be looking for?
A hooded figure with a cold mind and itchy fingers. And a trusty buddy for everyone in the team not to exploit the privileges instead of a great helper to each and everyone in the house. And someone who isn’t afraid of a little bit of programming at every level starting from configurations and automation. After all who are we to call IT guys without programming.
You are open to change and eager to work with tools and technologies that may be outside your comfort zone and that doesn't mean we will kill your sugars and give you frogs back home. But who doesn't need a little rush every once in a while?
You don’t stick or have some religious about systems and oss. You live in *:nix land but yet not afraid of other pieces and eager to explore if given enough resources and chance. And yes you know how to use command-line as well as complex UI interface to get the same thing done.
What you be doing?
- Design, propose and implement scalable cloud and involve interactively designing the software service which will run over that cloud
- Basic QoS and ACL implementation in everything starting with our office network to our cloud services
- Design, propose and implement automation systems and CICD from VCS to cloud then to customers premises
- Design and program helper scripts or maybe even modules for the company’s inframagic operations
- Reporting and monitoring service infrastructure as well as main consumer network reliability up to 99.9%
- Craft containers and servers for specific requirements by whatever means necessary, automate or mandatory
- Program pipeline flows logically for every container, service, swarms, and stacks as we needed. Scale-out ↔ and scale-up ↑
Which qualifications?
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent program from an accredited University/College
- 2+ years of hands-on experience delivering scalable systems, network and cloud infrastructure
- Strong self-initiative, passion, interpersonal skills, and adaptability to new technology
- Hands-on development of high quality, highly distributed cloud infrastructure with proper QOS practice
- You are precise with numbers and formats in such an example 12:00 PM and 00:00 AM doesn’t confuse you also understand how the internet works in the fundamental level
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, cloud-scale software, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery +Gitlab Runner +Docker +Vagrant +Kubernetes
- Demonstrated skills in a wide variety of languages especially Python +shell
- Deep understanding of cloud design in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, and security
How to stand out?
- Show previous experience with developing systems at cloud scale +AWS, DigitalOcean, and GCP
- Demonstrate delivery of complex projects in previous roles +InfraLead +GitlabIntegration
- Track record of crafting well-designed solutions and delivering low-latency software on cloud
- Experience with building and deploying containerized services
- Experience analyzing data to study cloud services and foresee potential areas of improvement
