Software Tester
Job Description
- Preparing the test environment, designing and developing the test cases and executing the test procedures.
- Responsible for designing and execution of critical functional test cases
- Automating the test solution based on the system design using scripting or programming languages as well as performance tuning.
- Logging and tracking defects to closure
- Provide guidance, support and governance of approved IT Processes to Project Management and Application Development teams
- Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
- Collaborate with Tech Lead and Application Development team to prepare the Test Plan/Strategy.
* Required Skills and Qualifications *
- 2+ years experience in executing testing and developing test automation solutions involving devices (UI-based or embedded) and/or back-office systems with familiarity on the full system development life cycle from requirement, development, to testing and deployment.
- Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Software Engineering or equivalent
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work well both independently as well as in a team.
- Highly dynamic personality and a team player
- Good communication skills
- Ability to speak English is highly preferred
