Join the ONOW Development Lab to launch innovative education products. Manage and maintain backend server and database architecture while developing brand-new features in Myanmar’s leading digital financial education tool.

Reporting and Management
This position reports directly to the Directors of ONOW. The Software Developer will base in ONOW’s Yangon Office. 

Key Activities
The Developer will manage the technology stack for ONOW’s education platform, including cloud-based server, SQL database and custom APIs. The developer will integrate new features between chatbots and backend infrastructure. The developer will also lead research projects to design and test innovative new features. 

Skills Needed
• Familiar with cloud-server such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Proficient in MySQL database management and custom queries
• Understand and create APIs and Web Services
• Creating custom APIs using Node.js
• PHP / JavaScript
• JSON
• Experience and Understanding of Zawgyi and Unicode challenges
• Proficiency working with ChatBots is a strong plus
• Optional: HTML/CSS/Android

The applicant should be confident in English communication. We are looking for a Team Player who is Organized, Detail-Oriented and Flexible. At times this position requires self-study or research to find solutions to complex problems.
