Senior Software Engineer
Job Description
Justlogin is a leader in providing online HR applications such as Payroll, Leave Management and Time & Attendance. We are looking for a well-qualified, talented and experienced individual to join our expanding development team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
This candidate’s primary responsibility will be to participate in the creation of new products and enhancements to existing products from concept to launch.

Software Engineer Job Duties
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
• Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures

Technical Skills
Senior software engineers must have expert knowledge of computer languages, computer logic and must poses strong analytical and reasoning skills. They must be familiar with software design methods and techniques, be knowledgeable on the full SDLC, and have the skills to write, edit and debug computer programs to achieve design objectives. They must have expertise in programming languages and technologies, such as:
• C#
• ASP.Net
• Classic ASP
• HTML
• JavaScript (including libraries such as jQuery)
• CSS
• SQL
• AJAX
Personal Skills
Strong analytical skills are essential for this role. Engineers must analyze both the business and technical requirements for a software program and develop design solutions to meet those needs. They require excellent project management skills to plan and monitor the progress of software development through the design, programming and testing phases so that programs are ready for planned release dates. Software engineers must have good communication and team-management skills to lead junior engineers and collaborate with programmers and other information systems specialists. They must also have good problem-solving skills to overcome issues during development.

Qualifications
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or software development related subject.
• 3 to 5 years work experience in a software development role. Candidate with Singapore work experience would be highly advantageous.
