We’re looking for a senior and an experienced Android developer for our Myanmar office in Yangon. You’ll be working alongside energetic and fun peers on challenging applications aimed at a vast number of users. You’ll mostly be dealing with complex data structure coming from one or more backends and wiring up various UIs with complicated business logics. So you’re expected to have the ability to abstract away the complexities, make a clear separation of concerns and be a strong problem solver. 

 

 

❖     Work closely with project managers, designers and peer engineers to transform ideas into products.

❖     Share your knowledges about industrial best practices, design patterns and techniques on a timely basis amongst local team as well as team operating abroad.

❖     Lead experienced Android developers to make sure the coding standards are followed, security checks are applied and be their go-to reference when needed.

❖     Help maintain code quality, coding standards and smoothen development workflow.

❖     Design, build, maintain high performance, reusable and reliable code.

❖     Pinpoint the bottlenecks and fix bugs.

 

Skills requirements 

 

❖     Strong knowledge of Android SDK, how to effectively deal with different versions and screen sizes of Android devices.

❖     Ability to effectively use Android UI kits without compromising the performance.

❖     At least 3 years of extensive development in Android.

❖     Strong knowledge of all or either of  these architectural patterns and experience using them: Clean, MVP, MVVM, MVI.

❖     Ability to think reactively and leverage reactive pattern using RxJava, RxKotlin.

❖     Solid understanding of Dependency Injection and experience using Dagger.

❖     Experience leveraging static code analysis and leak monitoring tools: lint, checkstyle, pmd, leakenary.

❖     Experience working with offline data storages.

❖     Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, especially Git.

❖     Great debugging skill.

❖     Solid understanding of S.O.L.I.D principles.

❖     Experience integrating third-party services like google map, login, firebase, mixpanel etc…

❖     Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical requirements.

❖     Willingness to share knowledges and be supportive.

❖     Detail-oriented mindset.

❖     Professional proficiency of kotlin is a huge plus.

❖     Experience publishing apps on google play store.

❖     Familiarity with continuous deployment/integration is a huge plus.

❖     Ability to write effective unit test and integration test is a huge plus.

❖     Familiarity with Android Architecture Components is a plus.

❖     Good command of English.
