Fullstack Javascript Web Developer
Job Description
We are looking for a Full Stack Javascript (Web) Developer responsible for enhancing our current platform. Your primary focus will be the development of new features and maintenance of current features.
Responsibilities
- Integration of user-facing elements defined by Supervisor for Business need
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant features
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Integration of data storage solutions e.g mongoDB, redis, MySQL
- Refactor current codes to make them reusable and easier to maintain
Skills And Qualifications
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript
- Knowledge of Node.js and frameworks available for it. We are using Sails which is powered by express web framework
- Experience with RESTful API design and development
- Experience in front-end framework like VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS (VueJS is preferred)
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
- Experience maintaining clean codebases and high code coverage
- Experience with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Experience with implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Habit of maintaining documentation for source code and project requirements
