We’re looking for a senior and an experienced Android developer for our Myanmar office in Yangon. You’ll be working alongside energetic and fun peers on challenging applications aimed at a vast number of users. You’ll mostly be dealing with complex data structure coming from one or more backends and wiring up various UIs with complicated business logics. So you’re expected to have the ability to abstract away the complexities, make a clear separation of concerns and be a strong problem solver. 

 

Responsibilities (Experienced)

 

❖     Work closely with project managers, designer and peer engineers to transform ideas into products.

❖     Design, build, maintain high performance, reusable and reliable code.

❖     Follow the specified coding standards, best practices and design patterns.

❖     Pinpoint the bottlenecks and fix bugs.

 

Skills requirements (Experienced)

 

❖     Strong knowledge of Android SDK, how to effectively deal with different versions and screen sizes of Android devices.

❖     Ability to effectively use Android UI kits without compromising the performance.

❖     At least 2 years of extensive development in Android.

❖     Knowledge of all or either of these architectural patterns: Clean, MVP, MVVM, MVI.

❖     Experience working with offline data storages.

❖     Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, especially Git.

❖     Experience integrating third-party services like google map, login, firebase, mixpanel etc...

❖     Detail-oriented mindset.

❖     Ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical requirements.

❖     Experience publishing apps on google play store.

❖     Eagerness to learn new things.

❖     Good debugging skill.

❖     Ability to write in kotlin is a plus.

❖     Ability to think reactively and leverage reactive pattern using RxJava, RxKotlin is a plus.

❖     Solid understanding of Dependency Injection and experience using Dagger is a plus.

❖     Experience working with Android Architectural Components is a plus.

❖     Familiarity with continuous deployment/integration is a plus.

❖     Ability to write effective unit test and integration test is a plus.

❖     Understanding of S.O.L.I.D principles is a plus.

❖     Good command of English.
