Who we be looking for?

What you be doing?
- Design, build and implement scalable cloud-based systems starting with an in-house razor-sharp tornado stack custom crafted for our product
- Work closely with internal team on new products and also laid out a maintenance plan, not in your head but in your code which means you gotta hold DRY and conventions up to chest
- Implement and maintain modular systems for our internal stack which will be servicing to multiple busy payment terminals over LAN & WAN (Yep you are right TCP/IP ...layer7 stuff but don't worry we gonna do easy GRPC)
- Support, maintain and document software functionality and when we say documentation we mean it like a love letter you once wrote in your grade school. Joyful yet informative.
- Occasionally push out crazy jokes in code reviews and then suddenly help your mate to push up their games
Which qualifications?
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent program from an accredited University/College
- 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering scalable systems, software, and digital products
- Strong self-initiative, passion, interpersonal skills, and adaptability to new technology
- Hands-on development of high quality, highly distributed cloud-based RESTful web services +AWS
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, cloud-scale software, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery +Gitlab Runner +Docker +Vagrant
- Demonstrated skills in a wide variety of languages especially Python +C, Go and Shell
- Deep understanding of cloud design in the areas of virtualization and global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, and security
How to stand out?
- Show previous experience with developing systems at cloud scale +AWS
- Demonstrate delivery of complex projects in previous roles +Architect +Implementation
- Track record of crafting well-designed solutions and delivering high-quality software on time
- Experience with building and deploying containerized services
- Experience analyzing data to study cloud services and foresee potential areas of improvement
