Backend Developer - Golden Paddy App
Job Description
We are looking for a motivated, hard-working, social and technically strong Backend Developer. You will be responsible for development and continuous optimization of our in-house backend systems and applications. You will be building a successful product together with the UX Designer, the Frontend Developer, the Product manager and the Data Analyst. This team is user-centric and impacting users’ lives is our ultimate goal. Being part of the Product Team, your role also requires you to actively talk to and listen to Impact Terra’s Management and Operations teams to understand their requirements and suggestions. You are required to pick up new skills if necessary, commit to project deadlines and be able to work on a tight schedule.

- Build backend infrastructure and work with the mobile developers to create and maintain robust mobile API
- Deliver and support across the entire product life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, app release and support
- Work directly with the tech team, including other developers, UX designers, and product manager to conceptualize, build, test and release products
- Contribute in defining product features and design process
- Help the product team in writing test cases and provide support during the testing phases
- Optimize production performance adopting and promoting agile development
- Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical team members
REQUIREMENTS
- Myanmar National
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 3 years of experience, with focus on backend development using PHP
- High proficiency in SQL databases
- Has experience in working with Amazon Web Services platforms
- Strong understanding of data structures, database design and design patterns
- Strong working experience with Git
SOFT SKILLS
- Able to develop and self-manage given tasks
- Highly motivated to learn quickly and pick up new skills
- Well organized and able to prioritize deliverables in order to meet deadlines
